Stop Pretending That Bad Games Are Good

I tend to shy away from controversy when I can, but I couldn’t resist sharing this video by YouTube channel Worth A Buy.

In the video, Mack basically calls the current video game industry out for many of their cookie-cutter practices and it might just make you think twice about the games you’re playing.  I know it has made me take a long hard look at my current pile of shame and start to revisit whether many of them deserve my time or not.

While I don’t necessarily agree with all of the points (I think that some of the gameplay mechanics we see in every game are there because they work and they’re intuitive), it is refreshing to hear someone be so candid about the video games that are receiving so much hype today.
