How To Set Up A Game Of Minecraft

Oh hello there! This tutorial is all about Minecraft! If you have no idea how to set it up a game then this is the place for you!

We are going to show you the exact steps for setting up your game on desktop and on Pocket Edition. So if you have already purchased, downloaded and installed the game of Minecraft, then it is high time to create a world and begin your wonderful journey!

And if you are looking for a way to jazz up your game, then you can go ahead and download some of the best features the creators have offered us – Minecraft skins!

How to set up Minecraft on Desktop

Step 1. First, you have to download and then install the game. Please note that you have to purchase, download and install Minecraft on your computer before you want to start playing it. That can be done through Minecraft’s official website.

Step 2. Open the game launcher. The launcher can be opened by double-clicking on the app icon (and yes, it looks like a spot of dirt).

Step 3. Hit the ‘Play’ button. The ‘Play’ button is a big green one situated at the bottom of the launcher. Hitting the button will get the game started. The game might ask you to enter your profile details (a username and a password) before proceeding to the next step.

Step 4. Press the Singleplayer button. That one is situated at the top corner of the main menu.

Step 5. Click ‘Create New World’. Again, look for the top of the page – it should be situated there.

Step 6. Create and type in the name of your new world. There will be a certain textbox situated at the top of the window, where you will have to enter what you have created.

Step 7. Play around with the settings in order to get it just right. If you want to change the settings up a bit, locate and then click ‘More World Options…’. There, you will be able to change practically anything you would like to!

Step 8. Hit the ‘Create New World’ button. That one is situated at the very bottom of the page. By doing this you will confirm the newly applied settings of your game and make up a world of your own. Once your world is all loaded, you are free to start playing Minecraft!

How to set up Minecraft on Pocket Edition

Step 1. You, of course, have to buy and then install the game. Both iOS and Android support Minecraft, so you should not have a problem with that.

Step 2. Tap on the Minecraft app icon (looks like a block of dirt, but hey ho – you are not playing for the looks!).

Step 3. Press the ‘Play’ button, which is situated at the top of your device’s screen.

Step 4. Near the top, find the ‘Create New’ button and click it.

Step 5. Locate the ‘Create New World’ button and press it. It should be situated somewhere near the top of your device’s screen. That way, you will be presented with the creation page of the world. In case you do not happen to locate that button, then tap the ‘New World’ button, which is placed in the upper-left corner.

Step 6. Create a name for your world and then enter it in the appropriate field.

Step 7. Find the ‘Difficulty’ drop-down menu and select one difficulty level you think you will be ace at. If you are not sure about which level to choose, then take note of the fact that on higher difficulty settings, monsters are a lot harder to destroy and are more damaging to your character.

Step 8. Play around with the settings. In the “Game Settings” menu, you can review the options the game gives you and alter some of the things you don’t find suitable. Please note that some of the options will not be available to you after you fully launch the game.

Step 9. Press the ‘Create’ button. That one is situated on the left side of the screen and is responsible for creating your world and launching the game. Once that is all done, you can start playing!

And that is it! We really hope you enjoyed this little step-by-step and will share it with your friends! Do let us know what you think of the game so far and what skin you have downloaded to play as!
