Horizon Zero Dawn is getting an official original comic book series by Titan Comics, co-created by Anne Toole (a writer on the game), with artwork by Ann Mauline.
The series is due to come out in Summer 2020, which ties in with Horizon Zero Dawn’s PC release date.
The comic book’s story will take place after the events of the game, following main protagonist Aloy and Talanah Khane Padish, a hunter from the Carja Hunter’s Lodge.
Titan’s website notes “Talanah, Sunhawk of the Hunters Lodge, struggles to find purpose after Aloy, her trusted friend, disappears. When a mysterious new threat emerges in the wilds, she returns to her roots as a hunter to defeat it, only to learn that a whole new breed of mechanized killers stalks the land.”
Horizon Zero Dawn’s first comic book issue will release on July 22 for $3.99 / £3.99 and will be available physically and digitally.
