This 20-Minutes of the Outer Worlds Gameplay Has Me Wanting More

Obsidian has revealed some more The Outer Worlds gameplay at the Tokyo Game Show this weekend.  As we saw with the recent Cyberpunk 2077 gameplay video, rather than an overly scripted, polished teaser as we’ve seen previously, this is a much rawer video of the gameplay.

The voice work is in English, though the text and UI are in Japanese (given that it was broadcast for the Tokyo Game Show).  It’s still easy enough to get an understanding of the current systems.

Here’s the video:

In a world where some people are disillusioned with the Fallout franchise, The Outer Worlds feels like going back to Fallout New Vegas in some respects.  Given that New Vegas was Obsidian’s first and last Fallout title, fans of the franchise should be in for a treat.

The Outer Worlds is coming to PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on 25th October 2019, and at a later, as-yet-unconfirmed date for the Nintendo Switch.
