The Resident Evil 2 remake is on the horizon

The Resident Evil 2 remake has been teased once again; this time by one of the original programmers who is returning for the remake.

Hiroyuki Kobayashi was one of the original programmers and producers of the original Resident Evil 2, which was released in 1998. During a recent interview with The Collider, Kobayashi teased that the remake is coming “soon”.

While this doesn’t say much, we can trust Kobayashi as he is still part of Capcom and is working on the CGI movie Resident Evil Vendetta. Nothing about the remake was talked about during E3, but could we see an official reveal at this year’s Tokyo Game Show?

In other news related to the remake, Alyson Court has confirmed that she will not be returning to reprise her long-running role as Claire for the remake.
