Genetic Disaster Is Out Today

Remember Team 8’s rogue-like co-op action game, Genetic Disaster?  Well, it’s out today, and it’s pretty darn good.

As I wrote earlier this month, Genetic Disaster is an online and couch cooperative title boasting ridiculous guns, zany characters and procedurally generated levels.  It’s colourful, it’s accessible and, oh yeah, it’s a lot of fun.

Here’s a gameplay walkthrough:

Players can pick from a range of characters, including a cute, tiny kitten (why not) and a walking fish (of course) and attempt to escape the procedurally generated mansion of an evil scientist.  And, yes, your character is upgradable.

Stay tuned for the GrownGaming review by Cory Spiers.

Genetic Disaster is available on Steam for $19.99/£15.49.
