BY CHIRAZ ENNACEUR: After Witcher 3, CD Projekt RED has made it clear that they are sparing no expense and making every effort to ensure that Cyberpunk 2077is the best that it can be.
While no release date is known for this much-anticipated title, the developers have drip-fed players fragments of interesting details every now and then. In a recent interview, it has been confirmed that Cyberpunk 2077 has a dark and violent core to complement its stunning futuristic setting.
Talking with GamesMaster Magazine, CD Projekt RED writer Stanis Swiecicki shared some insight into this Cyberpunk 2077 and confirmed that the experience will not be for the faint-hearted.
Stanis Swiecicki said, “We’re putting all our narrative firepower into allowing gamers to experience their story, one in which their decisions will shape who their character really is. It goes without question, though, that the dystopian future we’re putting you in is a dark and violent place. Being in control of who you are and having it stay that way is what matters most. You’re never trying to save the world, it’s always about saving yourself.”
Cyberpunk 2077’s gameplay will offer a much darker experience compared to what gamers may be expecting. It is also refreshing to see that you’re not a hero trying to save Night City from an unknown threat, instead just trying to survive in a challenging world.
There is no doubt that CD Projekt Red has pushed their limits with this one. They have done it before with The Witcher 3 and they are doing it again. This company is one of the very few companies that seek perfection and they know how to deliver an exceptional product. They also have a history of conducting research on pioneering new game features in the gaming industry and utilizing them in their projects.
