Tempted To Get Into PC Gaming? Watch This YouTube Series

If you’re considering getting into PC gaming, then this is one YouTube series that you really need to watch.

I bought my first gaming PC 6 years ago.  It was an expensive decision, but one I’ve never regretted.  I remember worrying about whether it would be a mistake.  Aren’t PC players, you know…different?  What if I don’t know how to upgrade my computer?  Heck, what if I buy a crap computer in the first place by accident?  Scary.

The truth is, you can buy some incredible gaming PCs from reputable websites for reasonable amounts of money, and there are thousands of videos to help you through the upgrading process when the time eventually comes.  And as for the people?  It’s the same as any gaming community, though I have to say that PC players show a sense of unity that I haven’t found as I’ve bounced from console to console.

Another advantage is the price of video games in Steam Sales; they will have you sneering at your console playing buddies as you scoop AAA titles for a fraction of their RRP.

But, I’m not here to convince you to buy your first gaming PC.  I understand how daunting making that purchase can be.  It has to be right for you.

When I was sitting on the fence, I stumbled upon a video series by a YouTuber named TheBlacksunsh1ne.  The series was called Getting into PC Gaming and it covered everything I had anxieties about when trying to decide whether to make the switch.  TheBlacksunsh1ne made me feel like I wouldn’t be a clueless outcast of the PC gaming community and that becoming a PC gamer would take my video game experiences to the next level.

The video series is below:

It may be a little old, but the points are all relevant and delivered in an honest and humble way.

TheBlacksunsh1ne, if you’re out there and ever read this post, thank you.
