The Elite Dangerous Controller You Need In Your Life

This article has been re-upped because we think it’s too awesome to forget.

Elite Dangerous players, forget flight sticks and HOTAS; Matt Hale has created the most beautiful controller we’ve ever seen.

The laser engraved and cut build is simply stunning, and the array of colors and lights makes this controller a true work of art.

It cost £150 to make, including parts and engraving. To the uninitiated, this may seem like an excessive amount for a controller made for one title, but anyone who has taken to the universe of Elite Dangerous will totally get it.

Matt originally revealed the build on Reddit and has since shared details of how you can build your own on Instructables, including the template of the exact layout he created.

I know the next time I take to the stars I’ll be enviously clutching my 360 controller…
